Katie Higgins

Katie is the Managing Partner of Partners Legal Solutions and an experienced corporate and commercial lawyer.

Katie works with business owners, founders, investors, and management teams on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters. Her experience includes mergers and acquisitions, capital raisings, corporate structuring, shareholder arrangements, employee equity schemes and corporate governance.

She has particular experience working with fast-growing and entrepreneurial businesses and understands the legal and commercial issues that arise as businesses grow, raise capital, bring in investors and ultimately prepare for an exit.

Katie’s experience extends beyond traditional legal practice. She has worked as an advisor to startups and scaleups and as a Senior Lecturer in Law at Monash University, giving her a broad perspective on the commercial challenges facing businesses and their leaders.

Katie takes a pragmatic and commercial approach to legal advice. Having worked closely with businesses at different stages of growth, she is particularly interested in helping clients make good decisions, manage risk and put in place the structures they need to grow successfully.

Outside legal practice, Katie has a longstanding interest in environmental and social impact initiatives and has worked with and supported a range of organisations in this area.
